Scary Man

This is one I did according to a tutorial. Its amazing to see how much variation a single thin looking brush can do. The whole drawing didn’t come out good with not so equally sized ears. It was very interesting to see how the whole drawing built itself on the background paint. I kept on mixing and coloring over the base. But the man looks real sad and scary.

Paper Tiger (from old files)

I made this from from newspaper. I used brushes and paint to do this one. I was so proud of this painting back then. Somehow, I still am.

Colors In A Basket(frm old files)

A flower basket. I was tempted by the vibrant colors and I wanted to use my new plastic crayons. That’s all I can remember.

Old Scrapbooks..

I opened a very old drawing file of mine. Very old as in a decade old when I was 12 something. A bunch of fragile pages blinked at sunshine with drawings etched on them. I realized how I have enjoyed drawing as a kid. I loved making greeting cards. And how if one does not treasure these little joys , it stagnates. When I draw something today, I feel the same joy of bringing life or a dream alive on paper or on my computer screen. Its a pretty “kool” feeling. (I’ll be adding some of my drawings which filed as kid).

I Won…

I won the contest of logo design for DIGITAL ARTIST. The judges said I got the points for my concept. This is the first time I have won something for the creative photoshop  work of mine. It is special :)

Digital Artist logo

This is latest logo I designed. Its for a competition of a community on internet called Digital Artist. I did it on photoshop. More than anything I enjoyed doing it. Its fun how to bring out one idea, one explores so many other things, which are not even used finally. The idea was how digital has got color splash on it. I tried using D (color palette) and A (rest of the body) to make little Digital Artist.
