This happens to be amalgamation of charcoal, graphite, chalk and brown paper. My first attempt with chalk and brown paper. There is a lot to improve on, the ellipses could have been better, also the finishing. But its my first in some sense so its special. Yea, I know , I know , the picture quality continues to be pathetic but I’ll be buying a scanner soon and we’ll be having some smiling quality pictures again. Please bear with it for sometime.

Pardon me for the pic quality again but reason I’ve stated already. This is one of the practice session drawing. This drawing taught me to look at vegetables too as still life setup.

So this I did as an exercise for my hand and my dear pencil. It will be back on track soon. Though I am sorry for image quality (taken from my mobile cam) as I donot have the luxury of scanner right now. The real drawing looks better. And yea, I’ve started using charcoal. Hopefully, I’ll be drawing something with full on charcoal real soon.

This drawing is for a friend. I am not of this kind but there are these “actual” music lovers who can attain a point where they can only feel music and loose the sense of space and time. I believe this applies to every little thing about which one is passionate about. Also its pretty cool to see this friend of mine playing his imaginary notes on his air guitar.

One of the drawings which helped me survive college lectures. I made it randomly. Painted in photoshop. I do not have any idea of digital painting so did what looked somewhat alright. Random acts of drawing are fun.

This one is hand drawn and then painted in photoshop. I tried to do some fast sketching and colored it in photoshop in few minutes. I painted a face on photoshop first time. Its tricky to do it on my laptop touchpad. I like the way the baggy skin under his eyes shows. Hair painted too plainly. This guy needs some sleep and a makeover too.

This I sketched while I was attending a lecture. The shoulder and spine part seem out of place or may I just drew his vest wrong. I like his left arm still there are so many mistakes.
. I will learn to make to make better.
